Android: CloudOn, previously introduced for the iPad, gives Android tablet owners a fully-functioning version of Microsoft Office and saves your documents to Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. Now you can create, edit, and share Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files wherever you may be.
The app is optimized for Android Honeycomb and Ice Cream Sandwich tablets (Android 3.1 and higher). It uses virtualization technology—so you essentially remote into CloudOn's servers that are running Microsoft Office for direct access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. All of the features available in a desktop version of Microsoft Office are also available to you here, including creating charts, tracking changes, and inserting comments. You can display PowerPoint slides in full presentation mode, making this an especially useful app for salespeople.
CloudOn also gives you Adobe Reader support for PDF files, as well as a file viewer for other file types.
With the Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box integration, your Office files don't take up space on your tablet and are accessible from any device.
And the app is free. It's a great alternative to having to set up Microsoft Office on a computer that you have to remote desktop into.

If you're sick of staring at that Microsoft Word or Excel splash screen every time you start up the program, this little trick will keep it from popping up before the main window.
iPad: CloudOn brings a fully-loaded version of Microsoft Office to the iPad, so you can edit documents on-the-go using all of Office's features, and store your documents right in your Dropbox.
CloudOn isn't really a touch-optimized version of Office; instead, it's like using a screen-sharing app with a computer running Office elsewhere. You'll need an internet connection to use it, since the program runs on CloudOn's servers, but it actually works pretty well, despite being designed for a mouse and keyboard. You probably wouldn't want to do all your document editing from it, but for quick edits, tracking changes, or reviewing presentations, it's really useful, and doesn't have the compatibility problems that might come with something like iWork. It also stores all your documents in your Dropbox, so you have easy access to them everywhere you go.
