Android: Microsoft's popular note taking and organization app, OneNote, is now available on Android, so you can have your notes with you wherever you go.
OneNote has been available for the iPhone for over a year now, but now Android users can finally get in on the action. The Android client lets you create new notes with text, pictures, and bullets, as well as manage to-do lists with checkboxes. You can sync all your notes with Microsoft SkyDrive, too, so everything stays in sync across your devices. Free accounts can create and edit up to 500 notes, as usual, and all you need is a Windows Live ID. Hit the link to check it out. Thanks, Sean!
OneNote is a free download for Android devices running 2.3 and higher.

iOS: It's been a long time coming, but finally Microsoft Office users can get their favorite note-taking app on the iPhone, so you can view, create, and sync notes on-the-go.

Whenever we mention desktop note-taking applications, two apps always stand out among the competition: Microsoft OneNote and Evernote. One is a commercial Windows app; the other is a free application for Windows, OS X, and many mobile phones. So which is better?
